Fall 2022 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Association of Social Workers in Higher Education (ASWHE). We are thrilled to announce that we are now officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a status that strengthens our ability to champion the work of social work professionals and social work students practicing in higher education settings. 

In the coming year, we will be working on the development of a new membership model, professional resources, and opportunities for social workers practicing in higher education to connect. If you are interested in helping us build and grow the organization, please contact us. Every day, all across the country, social workers are applying the profession’s values, theories, and methods to create positive change in higher education institutions through the individuals, groups, and communities that constitute them.
